Today I am excited to show you all how I brightened up our classic white kitchen with some fun and colorful accessories from the Pioneer Woman from Walmart Home. After months of waiting to have our kitchen done, it was time for me to add some COLOR with the help of the affordable Pioneer Woman line. I really like the clean, fresh look of our kitchen now but I have to admit it was feeling a little blah with all the white. The classic, colorful Pioneer Woman line from Walmart was just what I needed.

I picked up a few new baking essentials all in some of my favorite colors–aqua, pale blue and some bright reds (which will be amazing at the holidays) and had the best time baking up some fall treats last week. I used the essentials below and created an apple pie, an apple crisp (recipe follows) and some muffins.

It is hard to pick a favorite new item, but the floral measuring cup set might just be it. I love the small stacking bowls so much I am keeping them on display on my counter, that makes them easy to grab when I need a quick measurement, each one is marked inside with how much it holds.

I also am so happy I found these stacking mixing bowls, I needed some larger bowls and they make it easy to mix up a ton of ingredients. I love the fun colors and that they have the spout for pouring, but also that they stack for easy storage. I also picked up a cute pie pan, perfect for serving an apple pie in the fall.

I also added a baking set, where you get a set of two bakers together in different patterns, which makes bringing dishes to an event extra fun. I love to bake in the fall so all these tools made it all the more enjoyable. You can find the pretty ivory cake stand and glass cover HERE.

Quick PSA: Also, Ree has launched a fashion line at Walmart too, I scooped up this cute floral caftan (or she calls it a ‘duster’) I am wearing. The matching floral mug is now my favorite for coffee or an afternoon cup of tea.

Here is the recipe for my favorite fall Apple Crisp, it’s easy to make and can be made gluten-free too!

For those of you who aren’t into this much color, I also created a fall tablescape using the Pioneer Woman pieces. For this I went with more muted tones from her line, using deep purples and ivory. Wouldn’t this carry over perfectly to Thanksgiving?

I combined these beautiful violet toned goblets with some of the Pioneer Woman’s ivory dinnerware. Mixed with some fall accents it was easy to create a pretty, muted tablescape.

This tablescape, while done completely on a budget looks much more expensive. I love experimenting with different tones as the seasons change, and something as simple as a pop of color just in the goblets can change the look of a plain table into something much more interesting. You can shop all the sources I used in the widget at the end of the post.

I used this sweet little ceramic vase set along the center of the table, and I just filled each one with some of our late-blooming roses. The set of three can be displayed together or used separately.

I also added this large ivory bowl to my collection, I can just see it at Thanksgiving heaping with mashed potatoes, or to serve a crisp fall salad. The gray quilted placemats (which come in a set of six not just four, so much better) are available here.
