As I have mentioned, most of my warm-weather wardrobe is packed away in boxes and stored until we move into our new house, I didn’t really think about needing warm weather clothes in our haste to pack last winter. The warm temperatures we had last week (which sure didn’t stick around long) had me on a bit of a shopping spree. Since I am just augmenting my wardrobe (that I can’t access) I have been trying not to spend too much money, and so most of the items I purchased and are showing you today are on the affordable side.
If you follow us on Instagram, I showed off some cute things I tried on at Loft this week. They started their friends and family sale so everything is 40% off. I had to pop in there any way to pick up a dress I ordered for an event {I bought this gray one, it is just $50 on sale today FYI} and couldn’t resist trying on a few other things while I was there. A few things came home with me, including this cute black and white top. What I loved about it was that it is dressy enough to wear out but it is also casual enough to just wear around. The lace detail is pretty and fun and it’s just $22 today.
black and white top | white pants | black espadrilles | earrings | bracelet
Almost all of these outfits go with this great $25 pair of jeans. They come in a ton of sizes and are a great deal, my pair is holding up great.
blue off the shoulder shirt | white jeans | miller sandals | palm clutch | necklace | bracelet
This outfit is all on sale–the shirt is just $14 (today) and the Tory Burch Spring event is going on, if you buy the shoes and spend just $ 2 more you can get 20% off your entire purchase. I swear by the Tory flip flops, they are so comfortable and hold up for years. I know you all have seen that palm clutch over and over, it’s so fun and perfect for spring. I pretty much think it goes with everything.
twist shirt | black espadrilles | white jeans | kate spade watch | earrings | belt
I love this black and white outfit, but I am sad that shirt didn’t photograph well 🙁 It’s the twist front shirt from Nordstrom. Last year I bought this shirt in gray and wore it entirely too often so this year I added another one to my collection. It’s only $22 shipped; it is a nice long length and very lightweight. I styled it with white pants and gold accents to show it dressed up, but it works just as well as a casual top too. BTW–Nordstrom has a ton of new markdowns, you can see them all HERE.
Here is a better picture of both my shirts so you can see how the shirt looks with the twisted knot (I know the black doesn’t show up but it’s just like the gray one). You can click here to see it online.
linen dress | similar palm clutch | shoes | drop necklace | beaded necklace | watch
How fun is this blue striped dress? It is less than $20 today! It was a cart add-on (to get to free shipping) but now that I have it in hand, I love it! It’s going to be great for hot days, it’s a fun blue and white stripe and I love the ruffle. Again, it goes great my fun palm clutch. I also styled it with this chunky necklace for a different look below, I am not sure which one I like better?
Either way, you could wear this dress anywhere from a pool party to dinner, it’s definitely an easy summer dress. Now if it would just get warm enough to wear something like this here I would be happy!
Another fun find, it’s not a small job to iron clothes to show in flatlays–I recently ordered this steamer to help make it easier and at just $25 I may need to never iron again!
Have a great weekend, friends! I hope it’s warming up where you are 🙂

Amy where did you find the gold clutch?
Amy says
I didn’t link that because it’s several years old. It is Kate Spade!
Thanks,
