It’s kind of fitting that today I’m sharing our latest magazine mention, because it has everything to do with back to school organization.
This DIY vinyl wall chalkboard calendar has been in quite a few of my houses–every one where I’ve had the wall space for it! The chalkboard panels are peel and stick and I’ve actually been able to reuse them from one house to the next. It makes it easy to tell who needs to be where on any given day (or night).
Here’s the calendar in our historic home in Fayetteville, NC:

This easy but useful project made the pages of the Autumn Decorating issue of Country Sampler magazine in a back to school organization spread:

I just saw it on the newsstand at our grocery store last night, so take a peek the next time you’re waiting to check out!

Chalkboard pens (if you want to be fancy; I just use regular chalk)
I spent most of last week styling a friend’s beautiful home for a local magazine photo shoot, so I’ll be back in a few days to share my photos. And don’t forget to check out Amy’s post {here} on all of the best Labor Day sales.
Thanks for stopping by~
