Amy shared some great ideas for Teacher Appreciation week yesterday; so good that I ran right out to Target and bought some of those cute mason jars to monogram! You can read that post {here}.
Here’s an idea that I use pretty frequently that is also great for teachers, although it would work just as well as a birthday or “just because” gift, too.
First, I printed this darling “She believed she could so she did” inspirational saying from Belinda Selene; you can download it here. I printed it out as a 4×6 photo and put it in a gold picture frame (I took a black frame and used my favorite Rust-Oleum 2X spray paint in metallic gold).
Then, I monogrammed an apothecary jar from HomeGoods in gold using my Silhouette tutorial {here}. If you prefer round monograms, you can use {this} tutorial. The gumballs are from Target {here}, although Party City sells them, too. But the bag I bought at Target (in their party section) has three different colors that matched the printable perfectly.
The last touch was to put some fresh flowers in a mason jar; mine was spray painted gold:
That’s all there is to it–easy and inexpensive, and the jar can be refilled and used over and over for any number of fun things. I’d love to hear your favorite gift ideas–I always need new ones!
Thanks for stopping by!

Soooooo pretty! I love these printables so much! I spray paint $ Store frames, etc. too. I can’t really think of gift ideas that are as pretty as yours. 🙂 I’m always trying to think of creative ideas for gifts ~ especially for small items I can send my chemo buddies. (I think I told you I was a volunteer with Chemo Angels) With Mother’s Day next weekend, there are many ideas here for remembering others.
