We’re going to do something a little different with the series this year. I’ve created a calendar for the entire 24 days (it’s below) that you can print out or pin, so you can see an overview of what we have planned for our month. Obviously, these are just ideas that work well for me, Amy, and Terry–you can mix, match, add, delete, do some, do all–you get the idea! Then, daily throughout December, we will use social media to go into more detail about each day’s activities. So, please take this opportunity to follow us, so you can stay up-to-date:
We’ll be posting on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter each day, and I’ve also created a Pinterest board {here} that you will be able to see if you follow any of the three of us via Pinterest. If you’d like to share any of these posts with your friends, then of course please feel free to do so–the more, the merrier!
Some of these activities take more than a day to complete. For example, when we gather coats or canned food, we usually give our friends and neighbors up to a week to drop off items at our homes, and then we deliver them (lots of people want to give at this time of year and are more likely to do so when you make it easy for them). So on December 5th, I’ll put out the word that I’m collecting coats, and then finish up that act of giving the next week. You can obviously adjust the schedule to fit your needs–this is just a guideline!
Here’s the calendar for this year:
We’re really looking forward to making a difference in our communities this Christmas. Will you join us?!
Also, don’t forget that our Holiday Open House starts with a bang (and an awesome giveaway) next Monday, and thanks for stopping by!
