First, I have to show you the cute refreshment display she set up. It’s called ‘Sassy Water’ and it definitely was just that. I am on a health kick right now so this was right up my alley. It was a mix of fruit, cucumber, and mint. It was delicious! Such a simple thing to serve on a hot weekday but definitely a hit all around.
Christine is super-organized, so she had everything set out in stations. First, we were given an instruction sheet with all the recipes {which she kindly provided me so you will be able to download it if you like, the link is at the end}, then we could just move through each station and make our products. She even gave me the printables for the cute round labels, they are linked at the end of the post along with all the party resources if you want to host an event like this or just make your own.
I started by making the DIY bug spray–like I said I’m doing a separate post on just that next {edit: find that post HERE} because there are different varieties you can make–but the recipes are included in the downloadable instructions at the end of this post, too.
Next, I made the DIY Lavender Linen Spray, something I have also wanted to do for awhile. This was easy: you mix witch hazel, distilled water, and add in the oil in the scent of your choice. It’s perfect for refreshing your bedding, and if you use lavender oil it is said to help you feel restful.
Next, I made cleaning wipes. Another easy thing to do, as it just uses the well known and universally loved Thieves cleaner, it makes non-toxic wipes for quick spills, your counters, and sinks. Christine was smart enough to use coffee filters to make these as she said they hold up better than paper towels, who knew? Such an affordable way to make a large amount of wipes too.
I didn’t make these but she also had these fun Sink Bombs to keep your sink and disposal clean (or even your toilet!), she used ice cube trays to get the cute round balls. Isn’t her packaging spot on?
Here is Christine and her cute Mom, it was such a fun group of girls and it was nice to chat with other women who appreciate using natural cleaners and non-toxic beauty products. She had thought of every detail, like the cute brown bags that we could tuck each product in as we made it and so we could take our goodies home. She found great resources, I’ll be sure to link sources at the end of the post. Everything was perfectly organized, she had the cutest display set up with the bags and the grapefruit bath salt favors she made for everyone in the sweetest little glass jars. That recipe is also included in the downloadable printable. Isn’t this a pretty blue chest in her breakfast room too?

I would recommend substituting vodka for the rubbing alchohol.. It’s how I always make my sanitizer spray.
It doesn’t dry out your hands that way.
