Since today is considered “Small Business Saturday,” we try every year to share a gift guide that focuses on shopping small. I think this is much more important than it has been in previous years, since so many small businesses are really struggling because of the lockdowns.
The very best way to shop small is in person at one of your local stores, or through their individual websites. If you’re unwilling or unable to do that, however, we’ve rounded up some small businesses who sell online and ship nationally (internationally in many cases) so that you can shop small from home.
You can tell that I love all things blue, white, and monogrammed, can’t you?
First up on my list are the pajamas I promised you yesterday that I’d share. You can get them monogrammed and they ship for free.
Prefer a different style (short sleeves or a nightshirt?) or pattern? There are more to choose from here!
Next up are these pretty notepads. I am a list maker and so notepads are my love language. This paper is super thick in addition to being beautiful. Choose your color and two-letter monogram here.
If you have a guy on your list who’s a bourbon lover, these socks would make a cute stocking stuffer. There are other options available, and they ship free.
I absolutely love these beaded bracelets. They are a great price and ship for free–and they are most definitely on my own Christmas wish list!
I think these monogrammed trays are perfect for guys of all ages (honestly, I could see myself using one for my watch and earrings, too).
I love to give (and receive candles), and packaging them along with one of Annechovie’s beautiful matchboxes makes the gift so much nicer. She has dozens of styles to choose from here. We’ve featured them in the past but continue to mention them because they’re so unique and fun.
My husband has one of these super-thin wallets and swears by it. This would be a great stocking gift for a guy, don’t you think?
These monogrammed hand towels are the perfect gift for a monogram-loving friend. I have them in my powder room and they are gorgeous and high quality. They ship free, too!
I’ve shared these olive wood holding crosses before that are made in Israel. I like to pair them with a devotional as a great gift combination (see yesterday’s post here for my recent favorite devotional).
These messenger bags from Gentry Leather are high-end but are definitely heirloom bags that you can (and should) pass down from one generation to the next. Best of all, they’re unisex so they look classic and classy on any wearer.
What are your favorite small businesses to support? We’d love it if you’d drop a comment to let us know.
