Thanks so much for having me here at 11 Magnolia Lane today, I’m excited to be here.
My favorite memories as a child are pulling out the Shiny Brite ornaments and decorating our family tree. Those ornaments were not expensive, in fact those were very inexpensive growing up and could be bought at Woolworth’s and other shopping places. But, now they are collectibles and not easy to find anymore. I’m so glad my mother passed them along to me and I’ll be passing them along to Lauren, when I can’t use them anymore.
Today, I’m sharing my happy tabletop tree in the den. It’s a sweet little tree that just adds a bit of sparkle to that space and makes me especially smile when I see it covered in Shiny Brites.
My little tabletop tree all aglow at night.
I love sharing my spaces with others and I’m so glad to be here for the Christmas tour! Merry Christmas to you all!
Best,
Rhoda

Adore Rhoda. Had the pleasure of meeting her several years ago. Her tabletop tree is so cheerful. We too love Shiny Brite ornaments. I was thrilled when my sweet MIL passed hers along to me. They adorn our white tree in our library.

Thanks for showing the Shinny Be ornaments, mine unfortunately are in the attic this year. I have them from my grandmother and my family. Only have up my angel tree.

They’ll be waiting for you when you bring them down again! Have a Merry Christmas!

Loving the beautiful tabletop tree of Rhoda’s….When I was young, I always thought my parent’s Shiny Brites were too plain…but now I wished I had them!

Me, too–I’m sure both grandmothers had some, although I don’t remember them.
