Happy weekend everyone! Wasn’t our Operation: Organization Back to School series fun? So many great projects were shared, I hope you were inspired to get a little more organized this fall 🙂 For more about keeping yourself and your family organized, I am back today with more about our new line of organizing products! If you missed them, you can see the full post about the launch here. The video with all the info is below, it is quick and sums up what these products are all about nicely.
While we also have printable versions and supplemental printables to organize all those specialty tasks like {menu planning, school work, shopping, recipes to try, etc.}, I’ll get to those in a minute, the premier product in our organizing line is The Calendar Pad. As I mentioned in the video, this 50 sheet, printed pad {on nice, high-quality paper} is designed to keep your whole week on track.
Today I wanted to share a few more tricks for using The Calendar Pad. Sometimes I just stick with plain black pen, but this time I used my colors {I love using these fun Le Pens!} to lay out my entire week, so that’s what you see on my calendar. We’re pretty busy at this time of year! This pad has been a great help in keeping everyone in my home all straight, I’d love to hear from those of you who are already using it {thank you so much!} how you like it.
Here are some more tips to maximizing this pad as an organizational tool…
I do most of my weekly outlining Sunday night–that is why the pad is designed with the weekend at the end of the week. I sit down and look at the week ahead and figure what needs to be done when to best allocate our time. It helps our week flow much more smoothly.
I use a different color pen for each family member, that way they can tell at a glance what pertains to them.
For our recurring practices, I made up little slips with sticky notes so I don’t have to rewrite all the ongoing practices, I also like how they stand out and since practice times are still changing at this time of year, they are easy to move around. A simple magnetic strip glued to the back will hang this nicely on your fridge, door etc. so everyone in the family can see it. Now my husband can’t claim to “not know” we have dinner plans with his in-laws 🙂
Don’t like your handwriting? Try printing in all capitals with the markers, it takes a little longer but almost everyone can write more neatly that way.
My most important tip!
***Take a picture of it with your phone, you’ll never be without your plan, shopping list and things-to-do!***
To order your own, just click below…
As you can see the Pad has a weekly calendar with places for activities and things to do, it also has space for menu planning and a grocery list, a place for bills and budgets and a project and priority planner. Having the whole week in front of you makes it simple to plan ahead, it’s a great tool to stay organized. And, once you snap a picture of it–you’ll never be without your shopping list when you pop into the store for milk and those other few things {that you can’t remember once inside} ever again!
If you don’t want to wait to have one shipped out, or want a standard 8.5×11 size sheet you can order the printable version below.
Finally, in addition to The Calendar Pad we offer a package of supplemental printables to help you organize all the details. I compile mine into a Home Management Binder, but this way I have a pretty place to track our projects, recipes I want to try, our meal plan for the month, larger shopping lists, party planner and more!
You can order this complete printable collection for the low price of $2.99 below, it’s the perfect compliment to The Calendar Pad or they work great on their own.
While you are here, I invite you to read my post on the how and why this product line came to be, you can find that HERE. Time is a gift, my hope is that these products will assist in managing your time so you can find the time to do the things you love.

I love this calendar pad! Would you ever consider doing a dry erase version or some sort of reusable version so that it’s green and still functional?

This is such a great idea and I love that you added the colors! Yes, I love Le Pens ~ used them for years. 🙂 I’m older than you are too. Such a great idea to take a photo of the calendar…and I’m always forgetting something at the store if I don’t have my list.
