The Classic Christmas Collection

I am back today with the final collection in the 11 Magnolia Lane Home shop, Classic Christmas. As I mentioned, this year more than other years I felt drawn toward the traditional Christmas tartan plaids and red and green colors, which was my inspiration for this Classic Collection.

This look is easy to create in your own home, as red and green Christmas decor isn’t hard to find. The wired plaid ribbon was the inspiration for our tree this year, and I love the classic look.

Finding a wide, beautiful traditional plaid ribbon isn’t easy, and this large roll adorned our entire 9′ tree. It makes a statement for sure. It also looks beautiful paired with the emerald green ribbon.

The Frosted Red Berries also are some of the nicest faux berries I have found. I love the small bit of snow on them, and due to their denseness you only need a few for a larger impact. You can mix them with the large mixed eucalyptus greenery for a beautiful holiday arrangement.

I think the “Merry Christmas” banner is another really fun accent, especially in a kitchen over over a fireplace. It adds that fun touch and it is made of wood, not paper, so it has a higher end look and will last for years. I have mine hanging on our hutch in our kitchen, it a fun seasonal touch.

Many of the ornaments I have already shared coordinate perfectly with this collection, like the vintage metal snowflakes, but these red and white glass ornaments would be unique on any tree. They are beautiful, I love how they look on our tree with the crisp red and white, they stand out from across the room.
