Here are a few fun things I found while catching up online this week. Have you seen this compilation of the most popular home pins/trends via Pinterest? There are some pretty images in this post, it’s a fun concept to think of what the “Pinterest” dream home looks like for sure, I agreed with most of them, do you? See the whole post HERE.
A fun find for the day are these darling creamware cupcake stands and they are available again via Antique Farmhouse, I plan to use these for Easter with small nests or decorated eggs sitting on them at each placesetting, they are just the sweetest!
I have a soft spot for decor in little girls’ rooms and this one by Dear Lillie just has my heart. I love the sweet twin beds and the pale blue color scheme, Jennifer just has the magical touch! See all about this room HERE.
We’re coming off several weeks of someone or another being sick in our house and while I am counting the days until spring, I fear we still have weeks to go before the winter germs subside. I am breaking out the chicken bone broth {essentially chicken soup} to try to get us all back on track. Have you heard all the buzz about bone broth? It’s made when the chicken {including the bones} is cooked slowly over time which allows the minerals seep into the broth, it is crazy healthy for you and great for the immune system. Your grandmother was right that you should eat chicken soup when you are sick!
I make the broth in my slow-cooker , it is so easy. I just cut up a whole {organic} chicken, add filtered water to cover and a tablespoon or two of good apple cider vinegar and let it cook for 12-24 hours, more detailed instructions HERE. I sometimes freeze the broth so I can make up a quick soup on cold days, just by adding some leftover pasta, and some carrots, parsley, garlic etc. You can find the specific directions and information on why it’s so good for you HERE.
Moving on to “Soup for the Soul” side {I couldn’t resist!} have you ever visited this lovely library of beautiful printables via Ann Voskamp? She calls them “sticky notes for the soul”–You can see them HERE.
May He bless your Sunday, friends!

Homemade chicken noodle soup is great for winter germs! It is a favorite around our home also!
My hubby makes an assortment of soups and yet his chicken noodle soup is the best!
New to your blog and I love your content. Question…do you know the name of the paint colors on the home at the top of this post? Thanks in advance!
