We’ve been dying to present this new drink, in light of the “Salted Caramel” everything trend and the total deliciousness of our Whipped Apple Cider Martini…{below}

And with its perfectly coordinated coloring, I renamed it a “Halloween-tini” just for one night of the year…{the recipe is the same as above}
From that drink, we moved on and created this divine one…

So now, for this year…we have made some modifications and came up with the perfect-for-Halloween cocktail…
The Salted Caramel Apple Martini.
This recipe differs slightly from the above, the ingredients are below~

Rim your martini glass with the salted caramel topping to start–this is very important 🙂
Mix together in a cocktail shaker filled with ice:
2 parts apple cider
1 parts salted caramel vodka {we used Pinnacle}
1 part buttershots liquor
a teaspoon {or more, to taste} salted caramel ice cream topping
Shake hard, and strain into an ice cold martini glass.
ENJOY!
Doesn’t that look delicious? Trust me, it is!
Since Halloween falls on a weekend this year, which may call for more celebrating, here are a few more Halloween-inspired entertaining ideas…
You can check out Christy’s ideas for Halloween {HERE}, above you can see what the “over 21” Trick or Treaters get at her house! Wouldn’t you like to be her neighbor?
I really didn’t plan this to be a “blog” project but they came out so cute I thought I would share, after all I am talking about drinks, right? This weekend I whipped up a little gift to thank two of my favorite friends for helping me out last weekend. I started to do the whole “You’ve been Boozed” thing {such a cute idea} but I didn’t want it to be something they would then feel like they needed to pass on.
I found this darling printable {HERE}, attached it to some scrapbook paper and just wrapped up wine bottles with tissue and ribbon. We dropped them on their doorsteps Friday afternoon with a little thank you note on the back of the card. Hopefully they enjoyed them!
With less than one week to go we’ve got a busy week ahead–I am still finishing up Halloween costumes {my daughter will be one of the 100 million “Elsa’s” running around and we STILL need to make her cape! {I am told!}. Plus all the class parties and other goings-on! Can you believe it’s almost Halloween? You know what that means…Christmas is just 2 months away! I can’t quite wrap my head around that yet! 🙂
Cheers!
