Happy Friday everyone! Today I am sharing a recipe for what may just be my new favorite drink, though we created this recipe at Christy’s request. We drank these last year in Savannah and after she sweetly hinted that she would love for my bartender/husband to whip an easy version of a pear martini to share here on the blog. Since she has a birthday coming up, I thought this was the perfect virtual gift! She’ll have to mix one for herself since we won’t be in the same state to celebrate, unfortunately, but they are so easy and delicious I promise they are worth it 🙂
I recently picked up this pear vodka for another drink recipe that will be posted here soon, so since I had it on hand we started mixing to see what version we liked. This is our hands-down favorite.
For this drink we used:
2 parts Pear Vodka {we used Absolut}
1 part Sour Mix {we used Poe’s}
1 part Pear Puree
Squeeze of fresh Lemon Juice {be generous}
Splash of Lemonade
Fresh Pear Martini
A refreshing cocktail with fresh pear puree and pear vodka, can be served straight up or over ice.
Ingredients
- 2 parts Pear Vodka {we used Absolut}
- 1 parts Sour Mix {we used Poe's}
- 1 part Pear Puree
- squeeze fresh Lemon Juice {be generous}
- splash Splash of Lemonade
Instructions

Directions: Mix all ingredients together in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake to mix very well, and pour into a chilled martini glass. Of course, you could garnish the drink with a pear but I didn't get that far!

To make the Pear Puree, I took a can of pears and just pureed it in my Vitamix, so easy.
The fresh lemon juice is a must, it really cuts the sweetness of the drink and gives it a fresh taste, yum. Just squeeze it in but of course, watch out for seeds.
I am pretty excited to have these on the menu for this weekend. Pears are so perfect in the fall and this drink is a great way to enjoy them. They go perfectly with painting cabinets don’t you think? That’s what I am doing {insert boring face!}.
I hope you have more exciting plans and a great weekend everyone…Cheers!!!

Sounds amazing. Can’t wait to try it! One question-do you drain the can of pears?
