A few months ago I wrote this post on how to get the “Fixer Upper” look for less, since it has been one of our more popular posts I thought I’d pull together some other online sources for home decor. Sometimes there is something to be said for shopping from the comfort of your own home, right? I do love perusing the shelter catalogs that come in that mail, they are obviously great sources for home decor, but I would say I order from these other sources more often than those.
AMAZON
I have to start with the mother-ship of home delivery, Amazon. Amazon may not immediately come to mind, but don’t overlook them as a great resource for home decor items. My decorative shell which is available from catalog retailers for over $100 is a steal from Amazon. They have rugs, furniture, bedding, curtains, you name it but you can also find sellers that source other high-end stores offering the same goods on amazon for less thanks to the lower ‘no-middle man’ cost.
You can pick up a ghost chair from Amazon for less than $100 with free shipping, I have one on order for an upcoming room makeover. I don’t think you can beat this price and an extra chair is always a good thing. Recently I have seen other bloggers finding great furniture on Amazon, like these chairs here, Amazon also offer metal ‘Tolix’ style kitchen stools for some of the best prices I have seen anywhere.
ANTIQUE FARMHOUSE
Antique Farmhouse is very different from Amazon and other large retailers as they offer the unique things that you could only hope to stumble on in a Flea Market. While they are a “flash sale” site, things do sometimes reappear if you miss them the first go-round. Some of my favorite finds are available via this site, they have these beautiful dough bowls on occasion {we try to share them when they pop up since they are usually only around $50, which is a steal! And yikes, they have them today how lucky–snatch one up HERE}.
TARGET
Target is an obvious choice for home decor, after all when you stop in to grab milk and toothpaste it’s like a homing beacon drawing you to that section, right? {OK, maybe that is just me 🙂 } In addition to their designer collections that come for limited periods of time, Target is a great source for home decor basics. Some of my favorite bedding comes from Target like this Pintucked Duvet I have in our guest room {below}, and this bedspread from the Shabby Chic line is the front runner for my daughter’s room. The kitchen stools that were everyone’s first choice in this post sourcing them were from Target. You can order it all online and they often have a coupon code running for additional discounts for their home goods, be sure to check for that online.
WORLD MARKET
Now that I have discovered World Market as a furniture resource I am hooked. We often get compliments on our Everett Foyer Table {which seems to be the darling of Instagram these days, it is everywhere with a million styling combinations!} probably because it looks way more expensive than it really is. Ours is tucked in our hallway but it’s a great size for a foyer or even as a serving piece in a dining room. I have been eying the World Market kitchen tables, they have a great selection of affordable options, and Christy wrote a great post about some of her favorite entertaining pieces that double as decor, many of them are from World Market, read that here.
ETSY
Speaking of unique finds, ETSY is a great place to find those fun and special decorative items…ETSY is the place for farmhouse style signs, pillows from designer fabrics and art/printables. The only problem is that it offers so much it takes time to wade through and find what you need, but if you stick to your search, it’s probably there. The pretty blue pillow below is from ETSY, with their huge custom/homemade selection it is a pillow lover’s heaven!
EBAY
I am guilty of finding all sorts of things on eBay that you can pay more for elsewhere. I add to my collection of Blue Willow China via eBay, and have purchased Pottery Barn Kids bedding {new} from resellers on eBay. It’s a great place to check to see if you can find something especially if is just out of your price range, you may find it there for less. It’s also a great place to stock up on dishes/serving ware and Christy and I both have ordered porch/deck cushions quite happily from this seller HERE for years.
OVERSTOCK
Overstock is my go-to now for woven blinds, like these in our guest bathroom. They were a steal at less than $30 and such nice quality. They have tons of colors and sizes for a fraction of ordering them from a blind website. It’s also a great place to find things like kitchen stools, chairs etc.
And this recliner is so popular it seems to be perpetually sold out because, yes, this pretty chair Christy found is actually a recliner {the men in your life will thank you!}. They also carry it {here}.
WAYFAIR
Both Wayfair and the flash-sale counterpart, Joss & Main are great online resources for home decor. The curtains in my home office are from Wayfair, they are currently sold out but they have a great window treatment selection here.
Have I missed any sources I should know about? Let me know in the comments 🙂

Great resources, Amy! Thanks for putting them all in one post. I’m not sure if Stein Mart is located in your area or others, for that matter. They do have a nice section for home decor ~ bedding & bath, pillows, dishes and every item you can imagine for entertaining. Tables, lamps, mirrors, wall decor, etc. Coupons are prevalent too. Of course, you can always shop for clothing, jewelry, shoes and other accessories!

I just used Overstock for the first time and was very pleased. I got the prettiest blue and white summer quilt ~ king size with two shams for about $70 and free shipping. I looked everywhere from Pottery Barn to Pinecone Hill and didn’t find any sets for less than $200, and none of them were as cute. https://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&aq=&oq=overstock+lush+blue+quilt&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1T4GGHP_enUS539US539&q=overstock+lush+blue+quilt&gs_l=hp….0.0.0.7700………..0.pwnHLbCGlGA#q=overstock+lush+blue+quilt&tbm=shop&spd=17257257238929199439
