Late Summer Favorites

So, after living out of a suitcase (ok, two suitcases) for just over a month now, I’ve figured out which things I truly reach for on a regular basis. Everything below is something that my daughter and I love and highly recommend.

We ordered a few pairs of the Zella Aero shorts from Nordstrom and they are great. They’re just the right length–not too long and not too short–and they come in so many colors. At only $39 (regular price), they’re less expensive than my daughter’s usual Lululemon shorts, too.

Next up is this awesome 100% cotton T shirt dress from Target (I told you Target was at the top of my list for our time back in the States!). Why do I love this dress? Well, it comes in a dozen colors and sizes (even extended sizes), it’s only $20, and there’s a shorter version, too (that one is only $12). I bought three. 😉

Next up are the ever-popular Zella live-in leggings that Amy swears by. We received our order from the Nordstrom sale a few days ago and give them two enthusiastic thumbs up. They hold everything in (and up) nicely and are super-comfortable, too. They’re on sale for $38.90 right now. If you want cropped, joggers, or 3/4 length, they have those, too.

I came this close to getting my eyebrows microbladed this summer, but I chickened out (plus they’re super expensive). But then I found this eyebrow pencil and fell in love. It’s super skinny so you can draw a fine line, plus even the Blonde that I use gives good color. It’s only $6.99–I bought four or five to take back to Germany with me.

Another beauty product that I’ve fallen in love with is this lip mask from Laneige. You wear it to bed and when you wake up your lips are smooth and soft. I always sleep with a lip balm on anyway so this was easy to work into my bedtime routine. It’s $22 for the full size, but I found a four-pack of travel sizes at TJ Maxx for $20 recently, too.

Last but definitely not least, my friend Becky gave me these gorgeous Tory Burch Miller hoop earrings for an early birthday gift. I wear them at least three times a week (they also come in silver if you prefer that finish). Hint: you can find them on Poshmark for a lot less than full retail.
