I repurposed the table-top tree from the play room and had the best time hunting down perfect ornaments – almost all of them were from or made by dear friends! I made the Lilly bunting back at Halloween time and just restrung it on the tree for Christmas.
In addition to just being cute, the tree doubles as our Advent Jesse Tree, and we keep the hand-made ornaments for each night in the tray on the coffee table. You can read more about this sweet tradition here. You just might recognize Maude from The Pink Clutch post yesterday…she was dying to come visit me and is now pretty famous after two appearances on the Holiday Open House.
I used the rest of the bunting on the mirror and cut out and glittered letters to spell MERRY. You can find the printable Merry Christmas, y’all here.
Bestie P introduced me to the darling 12 Days of Christmas downloads at Lindsay Letters, and I strung them up above the cabinet that houses the littles’ desks.
It was so much fun to decorate a new space for Christmas this year! You can take the full tour and find all of the sources for the room here. And I’d love for you to stop by and see the rest of the Christmas tour here!!
Once again, THANK YOU to the gals at 11 Magnolia Lane for having me. It’s always a pleasure. Merry Christmas, y’all!
Oh my goodness…we now have an official Holiday Open House mascot–Maude! Where will she turn up next? LOVE it!
Thanks Amanda, your room is charming and having you join us is always such a treat!
