Good morning everyone! Today we have another fabulous friend stopping by at the Open House, Aniko from Place of my Taste is here to share her holiday decor. Aniko is a Virginia girl like me {though she is originally from Hungary} and she has some mad decorating and organizing skills. It is our pleasure to have her with us today!

Christmas home tour, front porch and dining room-2

Hello Magnolia Lane readers. It’s Aniko from Place of My Taste and I am so happy to be here to show you little bit of my decor for the Holidays. The tour is just fantastic so far with all the amazing participants and I can not wait to see the rest. Have you checked out all the ladies who have showed their fabulous and creative homes yet? There is so much to see!

I am going to show you a little bit of my front porch decoration and a peek of my dining room table decor today. Normally we put lights on the house but this year we did not have the time to hang those lights up so I decided to add some decorations to the front porch to get the Holiday feel.

I love to decorate on the budget. I really do. It excites me when I come up with something that is totally free but fabulous!

I made this gorgeous rustic wreath a few weeks ago and it looks great on the front door. Love the textures and how wintery it is.

WREATH tutorial HERE.

I found this big fire log at home depot and used it to decorate. Neat isn’t it?

These pallet wood pieces were stained ( I actually use them for my food photography-ha:-) and I put them outside and tied them on the rail. Hung a big red bow on them to make them pretty.

Our local home depot has a big basket full of Christmas tree branches that they cut off of the trees that they are selling and these are free to take. I went to grab a whole bunch and made up these Christmas tree planters. ( I had the planters already)

Spray painted them a little bit with white paint:-) and threw some FREE pine cones on them.
