Hi…I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving, I know we did! I am still out of town so I haven’t started my holiday decorating yet {the above picture is from last year} but I am looking forward to getting back home and getting started. We’ll be getting ready for a great-big-fourth-birthday party next weekend (my daughter’s first official birthday ‘party’!) so I don’t know how much I will get done right away.
Before I even drag my bins out of the attic, I knew I would want to take the time to comb through last year’s holiday posts and find Andrea’s house just for the inspiration. Christy’s sweet and very talented friend let us photograph her house when it was all dolled up for the holidays and it’s a show-stopper. In case you missed it, here are some of my personal favorites:
The above shot is from Andrea’s closet. Don’t you love the Audrey Hepburn dress and the silver and black tree? I would love to dress up for a holiday party in this space!
Make sure to check out her entire home tour, click here for Part One and here for Part Two.
Christy’s former home in North Carolina {view the entire tour HERE} was just made to be decorated for Christmas!
Don’t you love this mantel? Just one of something like five {?!} mantels she had in that house, lucky girl!
Even her daughter had her own special tree in her pretty vintage pink room.
And for the kitchen, a tiny tree in the kitchen decorated with cooking ornaments.
Precious.
I am making a promise to myself to simplify this year. Last year we went all out when our neighborhood had an outdoor decorating contest with a $500 prize. We did put a tree on our front porch in our zealousness, which was fun for awhile, although it didn’t fare too well when the coastal winds kicked up. We’ll be rethinking that this year!
So, have you all started decorating? Or did you just shop Black Friday? Either one works as far as we’re concerned! We’ll be back with more holiday inspiration and some organizing printables in the next few days.
XO,
Oh my – that closet – looks like Santa brought someone some things from Tiffanys!

Oh, so pretty! The little pink tree is my favorite, of course. 🙂
I don’t know if you’d want to do this, but we’re having an “Inspiration for the Season” linky party right now, and this would be a great post to link up! Let me know!

Lovely. Where did you find your gold Happy Holidays ribbon?
