Happy Friday, everyone! Yesterday was incredibly windy and rainy here in North Carolina as the remnants of Hurricane Michael passed through. Schools were closed yesterday and today as several of our county schools are without power still, but we weathered the storm safely at the MCC House. My heart breaks for those in Florida who took the brunt of the storm.
The storm pushed all of our hot and humid summer air away and this morning it was in the 60s and gorgeous–it finally felt like fall around here. Today’s Friday finds were chosen with that in mind.
First up is this knot-hem grey top. I have it in both gray and blue and love it. It’s thicker than an average tee and washes beautifully, plus it’s only $20 right now.
Pair it with these Pinhole Booties in gray or black (although the other colors aren’t bad either!):

I also love the look of this artificial wreath. Style it with a few white pumpkins for your fall front door, and transition it to Christmas with a big burlap bow and some sparkly ornaments:
Did you see Amy’s fall tablescape earlier this week? It featured these stunning copper wine glasses that are on my wish list. I know from drinking Moscow mules (see our favorite recipe here) that copper keeps drinks so cold–plus they’re gorgeous!

I had to order a 2019 planner recently because the last few pages of my 2018 planner are completely filled with things that are already on the schedule for 2019 (we are busy, busy, busy!). I bought the less expensive version of my favorite Day Designer this time and have to say that I’m perfectly happy with it. It still has all the features I love but is a little less bulky with its soft cover. If you must use a paper planner like me, then it’s worth checking out.
Last but not least, when I did the Whole30 in January I discovered these approved coffee creamers made from almond and coconut milk. I was able to successfully ditch my sugar AND flavored creamer addiction and now just use these in my morning coffee. I can’t even imagine how much sugar I’ve cut out of my diet as a result!
I buy them from Amazon–links are below–and have them on autoship since I enjoy them so much. If you’re trying to follow a paleo/keto/Whole30 diet, then these are definitely worth a try!
Nutpods (variety pack) (dark chocolate orange) (pumpkin spice – only available in a 12-pack)
That’s it for today. My son is coming home for fall break so we’re looking forward to a fun weekend together hearing all about his freshman year of college. I expect he’ll be bringing dirty laundry and a good appetite for home cooking, too!
Have a great weekend, and thanks for stopping by~

Where was the pretty wreath from? Would love to check it out.
