We’ve shared quite a bit of fashion from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, so I thought we’d take a break from clothes and instead today share some of our favorite home decor finds. I ordered several things for my new house along with the clothes I purchased {see those here if you missed it}, these items were just too good to pass up. During the sale, especially when you take into account the free shipping, many of these items are about what you’d pay at HomeGoods. The best part is that you can shop from the comfort of your own home, and don’t forget that this sale is a great time to pick up some gifts.
I love this pink chenille pillow, in fact, I first ordered it in gray but now wish I’d ordered the pink too. This is such a fun pillow, it would go nicely in a girl’s room or just in a mix of pillows. I love the texture of it!
I ordered this Kennebunk Blish plush throw in this ivory color, it is so soft and the plain cream color is a great basic to lay over a couch, especially with fall coming. My kids are always fighting over the blankets especially the really soft ones. This throw comes in a ton of colors and this especially would make a great gift, and it’s only $25.
I love this pink vase! Since my go-to accent color has been blush this spring and summer (along with everyone else, right?), this vase is so perfect. It would look amazing in my office, I may have to order this before the sale ends. The shape is lovely, it would look nice with just a few airy stems (like cherry blossoms) but I think it would also work beautifully for fuller arrangements (like hydrangeas).
I can totally see this Marble & Acacia Wood Cutting Board on the counter of my kitchen, something like this is not just functional, but it makes for a nice decoration when it is not in use. I love how these boards look just leaning on the counter in the kitchen. These also would make a very nice wedding or bridal shower gift, this one is such a great price.
Every summer party needs a beverage dispenser, this Hammered Glass one might be one the best-looking one I have seen. The cheaper versions leak, or break (I know from experience) so I have had my eye out for one that will last and hold up to constant use during an event. This one may just fit the bill! The hammered glass and the gold spigot are pretty perfect too!
I have been on the hunt for an accent rug in my sink area in my kitchen, just like this gray Dash & Albert rug. This one has a nice neutral color combination that will match nicely with my wood floors and blend with the jute rug under our dining area, these rugs are durable and stylish. The sale is the time to pick one up while they are discounted, there are quite a few deals on rugs (I also really love the colors in this one even though it is a bit brighter than my usual style!) during the sale.
This marble ceramic tissue box solves the what to do with the ugly box of tissues problem nicely! There are a whole collection of marble and gold bathroom accessories in the sale, there is even a fancy waste basket. I think the marble is classic and adds an elegant touch to any corner of your home, but especially in a powder room where guests can frequent.
I am looking at several spots in my house where I could hang this round mirror, this white-washed wood is SO in style right now. The diameter on this mirror is almost 3 feet, so this is a great deal for a mirror this size. This mirror would be a very fun accent on any blank wall. This rustic look mixed with glam (like warm metals like gold) is so in style right now!
A ‘pouf’ came into our lives earlier this spring (meaning I bought one at HomeGoods!) and while I don’t know that I needed one, it’s been a really useful home decor accent ever since. Not only does it provide extra seating, it is a great as a footrest. I catch my kids moving it from room to room to use it to lounge on, (then I steal it back because I like it as an accent in our family room) it’s definitely been a great purchase. This one is gray velvet, which is the perfect neutral in my opinion and this is a great size and a great price so I wanted to include it in this list today.
When I saw these monogrammed baskets I had a light bulb moment, how perfect are these for laundry? The initials make it that much easier, I figure I can store them in my laundry room, fill each one with a different child’s laundry then they can take it to their room and put it away. I am pretty pleased with my plan 🙂 not sure the kids will agree but it’s worth a try! Plus, these baskets look great 🙂
I have a similar navy and white throw and we use it all the time, it’s a great pop of color and of course I can’t miss anything with stripes. I included this one because most items are ‘fall’ in the Anniversary Sale, but this looks a little more summery to me. It also comes in a gray or a blush color, both of which would be perfect to transition to fall decor.
Finally, I can’t believe what a good deal this chenille duvet cover is, it’s just $59 for the queen size. There are also matching pillows HERE too. The cross/lattice pattern is a modern twist to traditional chenille. I love all white bedding (though there are other colors available too), this would be the perfect set to mix with other textures for that clean, layered bedding look that is so in style.
I also stocked up on Voluspa candles, they are my favorite and smell so good. My favorite is the French Cade Lavender scent, I love it. I keep an unlit one near my bed and it still smells lovely even when it’s not lit, I bought some more to scatter around the house. They smell amazing!
The sale goes through August 6th (then we can all start talking about something else, right?)…we’re almost done with our sale posts but here is a recap if you missed any:
