Father’s Day is just a few weeks away, so today I thought I’d share some gift ideas if you need them. My husband is fairly easy to shop for, at this time of year he’s happy to receive anything related to fishing (or, worst case, a Cabela’s gift card always works!). Though, to be honest, my favorite gift to give is more of an experience that we can all do together (like tickets to a sporting event, etc.). If in person events aren’t an option here are some of my husband’s favorite picks that would make a great gift.
I have shared this before but if your husband likes to use a charcoal grill, has a fire pit, or a green egg/smoker then the HomeRight ElectoTorch is a great gift. It makes getting a fire started simple without any chemicals. We love ours and have used it for years, you can see more about it here.
y husband’s favorite Christmas gift was a Solo Stove. This is a portable fire pit that gets rave reviews and it is perfect for summer evenings outside. I would also recommend getting the accessories like the tools and the stand to keep it elevated especially if you are using it on a more sensitive surface. The best part about these fire pits is that they have little to no smoke, so you can enjoy it without coming out smelling like a campfire!
My husband loves his OluKai Flip Flops, he lives in them all summer long. While these have a bit of high sticker price (at least for flip flops), they last forever so they are well worth the initial cost. We discovered these on a beach trip when he had forgotten to pack flip flops and the store clerk recommended this brand. I am glad she did as they have been well used ever since.
This backpack is actually a cooler, which makes transporting cold drinks or lunch easy. I love this for beach (or pool) vacations, so you can pack up drinks or snacks and carry it on your back freeing up your hands for all the other things. It is less than $40 too so it’s also an affordable gift.
I received a Garmin watch for my birthday, and I love it so much I actually think I’ll do a future post about it but for Father’s Day purposes here is the men’s version. This Garmin watch does pretty much everything for the active Dad in your life, it tracks activity, plays music, has a GPS, tracks health benchmarks (like your pulse/breathing etc.), shows you texts, can call for help in an emergency. This (above) is the fancier version but you can find other ones that are less costly here.
These lightweight, everyday Allbirds sneakers always get rave reviews. They are so easy to wear and are even made from natural materials.
This lightweight duffel bag is perfect for weekend getaways. My son has one that is similar and this makes packing easy.
Great for keeping cans cold on a summer day, a Yeti Rambler can insulators will come in handy all summer long.
If you have other ideas, I’d love to hear in the comments. Have a great day!
