Fall on the Front Porch

Yes!  Happy first day of fall!  Now that it’s finally here, it’s perfectly appropriate for me to get my fall on around the house (because fall is my favorite season).  I know I’m not the only one who loves pumpkin spice and everything nice!

One of my favorite outdoor decor tricks is to hang a banner from our front door; it always looks so nice with the ivy that grows around the doorframe.  Kirkland’s had this whimsical burlap banner that fit our porch perfectly.

Sunflowers are in season and so inexpensive at our grocery store right now: I popped a bunch in my favorite copper pitcher and they look great with our (still thriving) ferns and the Happy Fall Y’all pillow.

Now that the days are getting a bit cooler, the front porch is the perfect spot to sit with a book and a glass of wine in the evenings.
