One of my daughter’s teachers had a birthday this week and because she has seven teachers this year, I try to stick to about $10 per birthday gift.
This particular teacher is a lover of all things related to tea, so Annabelle and I chose a tin of our favorite blend, Harney & Sons Classic Paris Tea. Amy got us hooked on it the last time we were up there visiting. Their Hot Cinnamon Stick flavor is amazing, too.

Since packaging makes even the simplest gift look better, I popped the tea in one of the clear treat bags that I keep with my gift wrapping supplies. I have all different sizes on hand.

I then picked up two rock candy sticks at Savannah’s Candy Kitchen (you can also buy them online at Amazon here) and wrapped them up in these smaller treat bags. They’re a cute way to add sugar to your cuppa!

I had some gold Greek key ribbon (from Jo-ann) left over from trimming the lamp in my hallway, so I used that along with some cute gold and white striped gift tags I bought at the Target One Spot.

If you wanted to give a larger gift, you could add a gift card to a local coffee shop or tea room, or include another flavor or two of tea, or a pretty teacup. I also thought about tying a vintage silver spoon and/or a tea ball onto the package–there are lots of possibilities.

Thanks for stopping by–
