This post is sponsored by eBay, but all opinions are 100% my own.
As most of you know, I am a dedicated online shopper. It’s so easy to order online and have boxes of necessities (and of course some luxuries, too) delivered straight to my door! It also makes it so easy to find exactly what I need–not always easy in some of the small towns we’ve lived in over the years.
I’ve been using eBay since 2001, and have bought and sold thousands of items during that time. I’ve found some amazing deals on eBay, including some incredibly hard to find vintage items.
While I still love eBay for those one-of-a-kind finds, I’ve also noticed over the past few years that there are tons of new items available, too–in fact, 81% of the items now sold on eBay are brand new. For instance, I just bought my son a Fit Bit Charge 3 for Christmas during a Black Friday sale on eBay, and it was a great deal. I’m also watching a Dyson Stick vacuum; the Dyson prices on eBay are seriously the best I’ve seen.
Check out their daily deals {HERE}; their prices on electronics have been excellent recently, but there’s really something for everyone on your gift list.
Today I want to show you how I’ve decked the halls–or in this case, the table–all with items you can find on eBay. There is plenty of time to order and have things arrive quickly for decorating or gifting, and 69% of items sold on eBay ship free (yay!).
I started with a simple white, gold, and silver place setting:
My favorite gold chargers and gold flatware are always in stock so I can order new ones any time I’m hosting extra guests. My gold Limoges plates are vintage and I add one or two at a time to my collection. The final touch is a simple white napkin with a snowflake napkin ring and an appetizer plate stacked on top.
I photographed the centerpiece in a couple of different ways, with and without my mirrored gold tray and the white bottle brush trees. While I love the mirrored tray SO much, I also like to use it to serve drinks and on top of my bench/coffee table in the living room:
So, with the tray back in its usual spot, I created a multi-level centerpiece with a silver trophy wine bucket and a lemon cypress topiary, a silver footed compote and the bottle brush trees.
I have several silver champagne buckets in different styles and I use them constantly in my decor. Right now, one is in my kitchen holding my wooden spoons and other kitchen utensils and another one is in the powder room holding a poinsettia.
I also have quite a few (OK, eight) small silver compotes. Stack them in a china cabinet, put them in the powder room to hold guest soaps, or serve nuts or fruit in them with cocktails. They’re the perfect size!
A pair of furry white stockings complete the table and hang on the ladder back chairs. I just tie a wood craft letter on the loop so we know whose is whose.

Happy decking the halls (and gift shopping!), and thanks for stopping by~

Hi,
We have 8 inches of snow here in Greensboro.
Sleet and freezing rain as well.
We still have power. Pray for those without.
Your table ideas are great. I get many ideas from you.
Stay warm and Merry Christmas.

Wow, Rebecca! We are just south of the snow/ice line here in Southern Pines; our friends in Winston-Salem got over a foot. So glad to hear that you have power and yes, I will be praying for those without. There’s nothing worse than feeling cold!
Thanks for the lovely compliment and Merry Christmas to you, too!
