December Pretty Preppy Party Favorites

Merry Christmas, friends!  I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful holiday full of family and friends.

Here in North Carolina, we had to break down and turn the air conditioning on!  I wasn’t going to, but then my daughter came downstairs to sleep on the night of the 23rd because it was over 80 degrees upstairs, so I caved.

We had some absolutely beautiful holiday homes link up at this month’s Pretty Preppy Party, and I had a hard time choosing.  Be sure to visit the original post {here} to see all of the inspiration and pin ideas for next year.

My very favorite is Quarters One’s home tour {here}.  We shared the “JOY” garland she made from galvanized metal letters on Facebook and Instagram and it was a huge hit in both places.  Trust me, the rest of her home is just as lovely!  Shand is a fellow military spouse who has been fortunate enough to live all over the world, and she’s got a great eye for design.  Thanks for sharing.

Jennifer at Decorating Delirium has a great eye for color, and her Christmas decorations are fun and funky–and anyone who can incorporate a zebra in her holiday decor is pretty impressive, in my opinion!

DD’s Cottage shared her beautifully styled home that I guess I would call traditional-with-a-twist, because it’s got lovely touches everywhere I look.  Like this gorgeous chair:

We’re off to see the new Star Wars movie as a family today (finally), and then we have a few days before we welcome some very dear friends from Savannah who are joining us for New Year’s Eve.  We can’t wait to see them!
