One of the nicest parts of blogging is that I have a permanent record of all the houses I have {recently} lived in. We had this home built on the coast of Virginia in a cute neighborhood on the shore of a large lake. {We were only in it less than two years, but we loved it while were there}
Welcome to our home…
I think my favorite part about the home is the large front porch. Here it is decorated for spring. {You can see it decorated for the holidays HERE and Fall HERE}
In the front door. I insisted on a glass door {to heck with privacy!} because the view of the lake outside was so pretty.
To our front hall with the forever in-progress Gallery Wall.
On one side of the stairs is our Dining Room with its blue ceiling. {Read more HERE}
Through the hallway to the left is our Butler’s Pantry {Read more HERE}.
Behind the Butler’s Pantry is our little Guest Bathroom and guest room.
This fun chalkboard {How we did it HERE} hangs across from our Butler’s Pantry, it provided hours of artistic fun!
And around the corner, tucked behind our kitchen is the guest room and bathroom.
Across the hall is my Office. {Read more HERE}
Down the hall into the Family Room.
The family room is across from our kitchen {Read all about our kitchen HERE}.
Next to our kitchen is our breakfast room.
Above is what it looked like when we first moved in the house, then I changed the curtains, built open shelving and added a Craig’s List Hutch.
Heading upstairs you will find our daughter’s room {Read more HERE}.
And our laundry room {Read more HERE}.
Here is one of our upstairs bathrooms, this was such a fun project {Read more HERE}.
Here is a shot of our boys’ room, they shared the space while we lived there.
Here is a picture of our Master Bedroom {Read the ‘in progress’ post HERE}

Love your housphotos! Can you please tell me what color blue you painted the ceiling in your dining room? I would love to do the same in my house.
Thank you

As I’m reading through this blog (for the first time)…and browsing your homes (specifically yours), I gasped! I know this house! We just built a home in Ashville Park (moved from Lago Mar)…and I recognized the pictures from your listing and fell in love with your home! Best of luck on your move!
