The #BETHELIGHT CHALLENGE

 

Happy Friday everyone! I am just popping in today to let you know that next week we are joining up with an inspiring group of bloggers to participate in the #bethelightchallenge.

These seem to be crazy times, don’t they?

In America we are heading full steam into an election that has many of us uncertain about what the future will bring. Over the next few weeks, we’re joining with a group of bloggers to call for all of us to work together to bring light and hope to those we touch.  Social media is a tool that can bless but can also simultaneously cause hurt, anxiety and jealousy. It is easy to get caught up in the negativity on Facebook (political rants from friends that suddenly question why you ever liked them? #beenthere!} or feelings of inadequacy that creep in when you scroll through Instagram {thinking ‘my home will never be that perfect and beautiful’ #donethat!}. These small glimpses into our friends’ beliefs, values and personal lives can sometimes leave us feeling anything BUT inspired and uplifted, am I right?
