First, mark your calendars for Monday, August 17th, because we’re starting another Operation: Organization Back to School Edition series. We’ve got two weeks of guest bloggers lined up to share their favorite projects about all things related to organization and school. Even if you don’t have littles at home heading back to school, there will still be plenty of inspiration–after all, don’t we all feel the urge to get organized in September and January? It’s like clockwork!
And if you’d like a little inspiration from last year’s series, here’s one of my favorite posts from last year’s series. Amanda at Dixie Delights shared her amazingly beautiful and peaceful home office. See all the photos {here} or visit her blog for the full post {here}.

Are you kidding? This heat laminator is $21.65 at Amazon.com. I thought they were much more expensive, or I would have bought one YEARS ago. I also bought a pack of laminating envelopes to go with it and I couldn’t be more pleased with both of them. I am now happily laminating all the things as we start our new school year.

Shopping tip: if you’ve got kids who need school uniforms, then Lands’ End has theirs on 30% off sale right now through August 12th (plus free shipping on orders $50+). Just use code DESK and PIN 6350. We just dropped a TON on uniforms since our kids are at a new school this year, but I have to say that Lands’ End uniforms are worth every penny because of their quality and amazing customer service. And since we buy them during sale time, they’re comparably priced to lower quality brands.

I have been admiring this gold Kate Spade wristlet from afar for awhile now…it might go on my birthday wish list. I carry the biggest purse ever, but for date nights or quick errands a wristlet holds all the essentials and doesn’t dislocate my shoulder! This one is only $68 (not bad for KS) and free shipping.

Last but certainly not least, as those of us with kids get ready to send them back to school, I wanted to share this set of 31 free printable prayer cards with Bible verses to pray over our children (one for every day of the month), created by TimeWarpWife.
You can print them out and laminate them (how’s that for symmetry?).
Have a beautiful Sunday, and thanks for stopping by.

I will have to tell my oldest about the laminator. While she can get things laminated at the school, she would love to have a personal one at home as well, especially for cheer stuff. The buses will be rolling here come Monday. We will move baby girl to Knoxville on Wednesday. Then I am looking forward to cleaning and weeding out as some areas have gotten crazy unorganized! Look forward to the series.

Thanks so much for sharing about the laminator! I had no idea they were that reasonable. I don’t have kids or grands in school but I can think of several things to laminate. I think those prayer cards would make awesome gifts!
Have a great week!
