A few months ago I was surfing around on Pinterest for garage organizing ideas when I stumbled across this amazing garage makeover from nobody less than our friend from Aniko from Place Of My Taste, who we met at Haven last year. I immediately knew we had to include her amazingly organized space in Operation: Organization. She did a fabulous job pulling together what I consider to be a ‘challenging space’, we know you’ll be impressed too!

Hi, 11 Magnolia Lane readers. This is Aniko from Place of my Taste and I am so happy to be here as part of another great series. Today I am going to show you how we organized our pretty messy garage…and when I say “pretty messy” I mean it!
I like to bring EVERYTHING home that I think has a little chance to be makeover ed.:-) I am also a garage sale junkie so you can imagine our cluttered garage. Our garage just looked awful.
Yep. I told you!
Here is how we got around it and made this space Ah-mazing.
First we built a fantastic garage shelving unit that holds so much. Things that I can hide in the big bins, paper towels, seasonal stuff and decorations. ..just really perfect in every way!
We have lots of little motorcycles and bikes that are now parked under this huge storage wall.

We also made this fun organizing pegboard to the garage wall that made our life 10 times more organized as now we know where everything is and we can visually see things hanging on the walls versus hidden in little box.
See more of this great pegboard organizer.
We also installed an awsome bike bar that holds everyone’s bikes in place. Much better then having the bikes on the ground.!
Did I get you inspired to get your hands on organizing your garage?
