Yay for the weekend, everyone! I’m just stopping in today with a quick repeat of the Valentine’s Day idea I used for my daughter–Lilly Pulitzer-themed goody bags filled with colorful gumballs.
Her birthday was last week, and so we made these to send in to share with her friends at ballet. It seems like all preteen and teen girls love Lilly Pulitzer (at least, here in the south they do), so these are always a hit.
I made them using Avery Design and Print Online and my favorite Avery treat bags with toppers (#22801; affiliate link included for your convenience). You can find and save any Lilly print online; my daughter likes the First Impressions print so we usually use that one.
I usually buy the colored gumballs at Party City or Target, although they also have them at Michael’s, Wal-Mart, and Amazon these days.
Annabelle didn’t have a birthday party this year; we had just moved so she doesn’t have a big group of friends yet and she wanted to attend a two-week ballet camp so all of her spare money (and ours!) went to that. But this was a fun way to mark the day and share some sweetness with new friends and friends-to-be.
Here are the ones I did for Valentine’s Day:
These are a snap to make on your own, but we do offer them in our Etsy shop (here) if you’re short on time!
Thanks for stopping by–

Love the treat bags. What designs do you have for boys? We like tractors and Monster trucks and dinosaurs and animals …. lots of stuff.
