Hello! Happy weekend everyone. It is Day Three of the Holiday Open House and today we have Summer from Simple Stylings here to share her Dining Room decor. Enjoy 🙂

HI Guys! I’m Summer from Simple Stylings and I’m so excited to be joining 11 Magnolia Lane and a group of amazing women this week for the Holiday Open House!
Did you see a Southern State of Mind’s open house yet? If not make sure to check it out!
I don’t know about you but I can’t believe we’re coming up on the second week in December already! I mean, what happened to Labor Day?
Since I have a few finishing touches left on some of the other decor I wanted to share my Christmas table and dining room with you today.
I have a great love of all things nautical and coastal and both heavily influence my decorating style. This Christmas I wanted to attempt a more bold nautical look using navy blue, cabana stripes, and gold. I hadn’t planned on using much red but when I was at the Habitat Restore I found all of this fabric (for $1 a yard) and I fell in love with this old school floral!
Another one of my favorite thrift store scores is this porthole ice bucket! I’ve been dying to put it to use and I thought this was the perfect opportunity.
I kept the table simple with my ‘go to’ DIY striped candles and a few trimmings from our tree that I wrapped together with twine.
One of my favorite things about Christmas decorating is photography the twinkly lights!
I know this Christmas table is really outside of the box and to be honest it just kind of evolved into this but I’m really enjoying the layered look of the different patterns.
These DIY gold confetti wine glasses are one of my favorite hostess gifts and I’ll have a tutorial up on the blog soon. You can even put them in the dishwasher!!!
The plates are my Granny’s and I love the classic white and blue. I used a simple oyster shell at each setting.
Here is our chalkboard Advent calendar and a glass cabinet sits underneath that holds our entertaining glassware.
Make sure to head to my blog to check out the rest of my Christmas table and dining room and see a few sneak peeks of the rest of our holiday decorating!
Thanks so much for having me today ladies and I can’t wait to see the rest of the open houses this week!
