Hi everyone! I’m Roeshel from DIYShowOff and I’m so excited to be here sharing my favorite holiday with my gracious hostesses from 11 Magnolia Lane today!
I recently shared a summary of my holiday home tour but today I wanted to share more specific details of our dining room at Christmas. It’s decorated in a pretty mix of natural, glitter and mixed metallic glam.
The dining room Christmas tree is decorated with burlap and odds and ends including forks and spoons tied with ribbon, thrift store finds along with traditional ornaments and pinecones. I’ve stacked some old trunks for the tree base. Since it’s on the back wall, this lifts it off of the floor so it’s not so hidden behind the dining room table.
The centerpiece base consists of silver ornaments tucked into a full wreath. Add a birch candle and faux snow to a hurricane and place in the center – simple, easy and classic.
Our cage light is decorated with faux garland and lots of burlap mesh ribbon.
The open shelving displays our dishes and an important chalkboard reminder of the reason for the season!
Mixing natural elements such as branches and pinecones with faux pine garland, antlers and glittery ornaments and twinkle lights for the mantel…
And I just happen to be sharing the frosted mirror makeover tutorial at DIYShowOff today.
Mixing metallics and glitter with neutral natural elements gives the dining room an enchanted winter woodland vibe, don’t you think?
Thanks so much to the girls at 11 Magnolia Lane for allowing me to share my Christmas dining room with you today! I’m enjoying the Enjoy a wonderful holiday season, everyone!

Nice post. I learn something new and challenging
on websites I stumbleupon everyday. It will always be
helpful to read through content from other writers and use
a little something from their websites.
