| At Le Bilboquet |
Phew! We’re back from our weekend in Atlanta at the Haven Conference, and of course that means one thing–laundry! Why does one day away from home equal approximately two loads of dirty clothes?

Haven is fun for so many reasons; it’s a great chance to learn, connect with blogging friends who we usually only “see” online, and meet with some of our favorite brands and sponsors.
We got to meet up with all of our girls from our monthly Pretty Project Party:
| Left to right: This is Our Bliss, Southern State of Mind, Amy, Less Than Perfect Life of Bliss, Christy, Life on Virginia Street |
We also got to hand out our gorgeous media kits that Amy designed to a few new brands:
| Business cards: Minted {thank you!} |
And we had a truly outstanding dinner at Le Bilboquet with Amy Howard (of Amy Howard at Home, one of our brand partners) and a group of super bloggers. I used this photo because Amy Howard and her husband, Gene, are laughing in it, and I promise you, they always have smiles on their faces. Their love for each other and the Lord shines through in everything they do; dinner with them was truly one of the highlights of our trip.
| Left to right: Alex and Tina from AH, Amy, me, Amy Howard, Gene Howard, Yvonne (Stone Gable), Anita (Cedar Hill Farmhouse), Kim (Hunt and Host), Sara (SincerelySaraD)
We’re already looking forward to our next project.
We also got to meet the absolutely wonderful family who runs Glamour Farms, and we’re so excited that we’re going to be working with them on several fashion posts every month! Their clothes are beautiful, affordable, and stylish, and we had so much fun trying *everything* on. Stay tuned for our first post with them later this week.
There was so much more, including a goofy story about how I had a nightmare and screamed and jumped out of bed in the middle of the night (poor Amy, she is probably still trying to get her heart rate down), but it’s time to change out the laundry!
Thanks for stopping by~

How cute are y’all!!! so sorry I missed out again this year. hubby was out of town tending to his sweet momma (she’ll be 98 at the end of the month), and i was holding down the fort. looking forward to seeing all the new ideas you took away from the conference.
Christy says
Well, Lauren, I think that taking care of mom (and the home front) is much more important than a conference…but I do hope you make it next year so we can meet in person!
Now, as always, my only problem is finding the TIME to implement all of the good ideas I came home with! 🙂

Christy, it was great to see you again for all of 5 seconds! Haven was fabulous and I loved meeting Amy and Gene at Amy’s workshop. We have a Le Bilboquet in Dallas that is one of our favorites, but I didn’t know there was one in Atlanta. Will definitely have to try it next time I’m Here.
Christy says
I had no idea that Le Bilboquet is a chain restaurant–it’s definitely a VERY nice chain!! Yes, so good to see you very quickly, too!
Brenna@Domestic Charm says
Much love to you both! It was so wonderful to see you. It’s just too bad we didn’t really get to catch up. I will gladly drive north to see you any time!!
Christy says
Another blogging friend said, “I feel like I saw everyone and no one,” and I agree–I saw everyone and got to actually catch up with just a few.

It was a great time, Pat. I’ll admit that I wasn’t excited about going this year, since it was my kids’ first week of school and I hated to miss it, but it was time well spent.
