But since Father’s Day is right around the corner, today I’m sharing a few gift ideas for dads, plus a super new giveaway.
I used to think that my husband was easy to shop for, but he has become much more difficult over the years. Are any of you with me on that? I think it’s because he knows exactly what he wants, so it’s harder to surprise him. Plus, he has excellent (usually quite expensive) taste, which works against him.
In recent years, I’ve learned that it’s hard to go wrong with high-quality clothing and accessories, especially watches (he has quite a collection). Bowties and cufflinks are usually a hit, as are dress shirts.

My husband’s watch is made of Zebrawood and Dark Sandalwood, but they have a range of colors, styles, and prices (see their men’s line here). They use several different woods, including bamboo, ebony, rosewood, maple, and more.
JORD is giving everyone who enters a $20 credit to any watch purchase, and one winner will receive a $75 credit.
{ The fine print: the contest runs through 6/5 at 11:59pm. Our system will randomly select and email the winner then. }
I’m thinking most dads would love this gift!
Here are a few other Father’s Day gift ideas that seem to go over well in our house.
This monogrammed leather cuff link box really dresses up my husband’s closet (plus, he can put his watch in there!

If you need a pair of monogrammed cuff links to put in that box, here’s a pretty silver set from Etsy:

And if you REALLY want to spoil Dad, check out this absolutely amazing pair from Brooks Brothers (I <3 these!):

My teenage son has gotten my husband into bowties; this one would be gorgeous paired with a blue oxford strip or gingham shirt and a pair of Nantucket red pants {my husband has this pair and we love them}.
Chris doesn’t want me to end this post without recommending a bottle of bourbon as the perfect accompaniment to these choices! This is one of my favorite sites for bourbon-related gifts, and it’s where I found the blue bourbon-barrel bow tie in the watch photos (how’s that for alliteration?).
Which of those gorgeous watches would you choose?
