While I usually use 3M Command strips to hang plates on the wall (or even silver platters; see my tutorial here), the lips on the back of these plates meant that I needed to use wire plate hangers or adhesive disks instead (shop them here).








I think this chair is going to be blanketed in this navy blue velvet –doesn’t that sound pretty?

It’s Oatlands Taupe by Valspar. In some lights it looks grey, in others taupe–I’ve never used it before but I love it.
