Blessings to all our servicemen and women, our warriors, who keep us safe and serve as a reminder to all who have gone before and all who will follow . . .
You have a very handsome and tall husband. Love a man in a uniform! Happy Fourth to you and your family! And thank your husband for what he does to help defend our freedoms and liberties!
Thank-you,beautiful,inspiring.

Thank your whole family for their service. The quotes are great.
Great pictures of you two.
When I saw your 4th of July post in my email box this morning, two things resonated with me; first the photo of your husband in his military uniform. I followed your link to the post from Kryste Buoniconti. My son was a career Air Force Officer, he was killed in Afghanistan in February 2012 and I totally understand her feelings about “Happy Memorial Day.”
You mentioned your daughter was home for a weekend break from a classical ballet dance intensive. One of our granddaughters is on a week-long break from two 4-week dance intensives, NFB in Fort Walton Beach, FL and Austin, Texas. If you are interested, I recently wrote about both of these on my blog.
Thanks giving us a glimpse into your personal lives and please thank your husband for his service to our country.
Thank you for your comment and for telling me a little bit about your son. I am so very, very sorry for your loss, and so thankful for his sacrifice. We just passed a tough anniversary with a friend who is also a Gold Star mother and it just never gets easier. Chris has served for 23 years at this point and we have lost quite a few friends…sometimes it seems like most of America isn’t paying much attention anymore but please know that we remember with you, even though I know that “thank you” and “I’m sorry” don’t even begin to fill the void.
Your granddaughter is just lovely and I’m impressed with her dedication. My daughter is only 12 and she’s at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts summer intensive, but she has two older friends from her ballet school who are attending the same ABT intensive in Texas. Kudos to Camille for being selected! I’m sure she will have a wonderful dancing summer.
Thanks again for writing–take care–Christy
