Because we’re going to have much less space in our new house, and because I’m sending most of our living room furniture out to Kansas with my husband, I’ve picked up a few new (to me) pieces.
First, this bergere chair was $20 at my favorite thrift shop:
Then, I found a beautiful French settee while out shopping with my aunt and uncle last week, and I just love the look of it:
The antiqued wood frame doesn’t work with the dark fabric, and the fabric is in good shape, so I’m thinking about just painting the frame. The cushion is down and it’s so comfortable; I can’t wait to see how it turns out!
