Slow Cooker Pepperoni Lasagna

An easy, kid-friendly dish that is always a favorite!

Ingredients

  • 1 jar marinara or pasta sauce
  • 1 package cooked lasagna noodles cooled slightly, a small amount of olive oil keeps them from sticking together
  • 8 oz ricotta cheese about 1/2 to 2/3 of a large carton
  • 2 cups mozzerella cheese
  • fresh parsley (optional)
  • 1 package pepperoni

Instructions

  1. lightly spray or grease slowcooker

  2. mix together ricotta, 1 and 1/2 cups of mozzerella cheese, and egg in a small bowl

  3. layer a small amount of sauce in the slowcooker

  4. top with a layer of lasagna noodles

  5. top noodles with ricotta mixture

  6. top with sliced pepperoni

  7. then top again with sauce, repeat until all ingredients are gone, reserving sauce for top layer

  8. top with mozzerella cheese

  9. cook on high for one hour

Recipe Notes

You can also add cooked Italian sausage or ground beef. No-cook noodles are not recommended for this dish.
