If you caught Part 1 of the bathroom renovation that Amy is sharing with us {see it here}, then you’ll understand why we’ve got bathrooms on the brain right now. Her parents’ new bathroom is sure to be a stunner with all that gorgeous marble:
Since Amy and I have lived in quite a few houses over the years, we’ve shared quite a collection of bathrooms on the blog. Here are some of our favorites:
Our previous home here in North Carolina had one of my favorite bathrooms ever, with a huge steam shower and plenty of cabinet space. {see more here}
Our current home is less than half the size; we’re down to two baths instead of four, so the powder room is also shared by my kids. They do a really good job of keeping it clean, though. {see more here}
Amy and her family are currently living in a short-term rental, but this is the master bathroom in their previous (just-sold) house. They did a mini-makeover on this room {see it here} which involved pulling down a huge builder grade mirror and replacing it with two separate mirrors. It makes a huge difference!
Our military quarters in Savannah had a mini-bathroom-makeover (mostly because we weren’t allowed to do anything but paint), but we still made it into a relaxing space {more here}.
Amy’s guest bathroom (aka my bathroom when I visit) is one of my favorites (I love light colors and marble in bathrooms!). See it all {here}.
Our Nashville house’s master bathroom got quite a makeover; I still miss that space! {see it here}
Powder rooms get some of the love around here, too. Amy’s got a wallpaper update and a new mirror as part of the One Room Challenge {see it here}.
This post on our powder room in our Savannah house is a blast from the past. I used wrapping paper and spray adhesive to dress up those cabinet doors {more here}.
Back in the day when bead board was hugely popular, I added it to the powder room of our Nashville house {here}.
Last but not least, here are a few of the kid-themed bathrooms we’ve shared over the years.
My daughter’s aqua and coral bathroom in our Savannah house was all hers, so we went a little wild with the colors and it turned into such a cheerful space. {see it here}
Amy used a gray and yellow color scheme for her kids’ shared bathroom. {more here}
I also used yellow in the kids’ bath in our Nashville house (it’s always a good color choice when you have boys and girls sharing a space). {see it here}
Last but not least, Terry’s two boys shared this nautical-themed red, white, and blue bathroom back in the day. I love the crispness of the colors! {more here}
Since Amy and I are both in new homes, there will be more to see soon, I’m sure, plus she’ll have Part 2 of her parents’ bathroom renovation in just a few days.
Thanks for stopping by~
