Happy Sunday, everyone!
I created this graphic for my daughter a few weeks ago and thought it was worth sharing. We printed it out and put it on her mirror as a reminder of the young woman that she wants to be and become–kind, classy, and confident. It’s not always easy to be those things consistently during the teen years (ok, at any age!), but I keep reminding her that as she interacts with her peers now she’s also learning lessons that will serve her well throughout her life.
Proverbs 31:26 says, “When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instruction with kindness.” That’s probably the Biblical source of the saying, “If you don’t have anything nice [or helpful] to say, don’t say anything at all.” I aim for this one every day–and thank goodness each day is a fresh start.
If you’d like to save and print this graphic, just right mouse click and save the image. Enjoy!
And if you’d like to convey a similar message, but with a bit more wit, then I created this graphic that pairs perfectly with a slightly snarky sense of humor (#guilty):
Enjoy your Sunday, and thanks for stopping by.
