Seriously. This drink is so good it should be illegal.
It is a dessert style drink–but it is OK to have it before dinner. After all it’s February, in honor of Valentine’s Day, it’s OK to indulge, I promise it’s worth it.
I am seriously in love with Red Velvet right now, though since I am gluten-free, it’s a rare occasion that I can enjoy it since most cake is definitely NOT gluten-free. However this drink is a fun way to indulge. It just might be the trick to get you through the rest of this long, cold winter!
Obviously this is a special occasion drink–it is potent–a small serving is perfect as an after dinner treat.
Here is how you make it, per my ex-bartender husband…
{Makes 3 martini’s or 5 smaller “shooter” size drinks, mix alcohol to your strength taste}
Mix in a shaker filled with ice:
4 parts Pinnacle Birthday Cake Vodka
3 parts Cream de Cocoa
1 to 2 parts Grenadine {or more for color}
2/3 a cup Cream or Half & Half
Shake very well {till your hand is too cold to continue!} and pour into chilled martini glasses.
Garnish with chocolate sprinkles if you wish.
