Amy and I took a break from blogging yesterday; neither one of us felt much like writing after the horrific events unfolded in Las Vegas.  It also just seemed more appropriate to leave Sunday’s post up for another day (see it here if you missed it).

I can’t say that I’m feeling much more motivated today in the face of such a senseless tragedy, but a post I wrote a few weeks ago is live over at Mohawk Flooring’s Creative Home blog, and it’s a light read with lots of pretty fall pictures if you’d like some escapist reading.  You can check it out {here}.

We’ll be back in a few days; in the meantime, we’ll be praying for peace and comfort for the families of the victims in Las Vegas.  Thanks for stopping by.

  1. So tragic. One of our pups had to have emergency surgery, so we have been focused on him. Helps take our minds off what has happened. Loved Sunday’s post.

    • What happened to your pup? Tummy problems? I’m so sorry to hear this, but you are right that the distraction is helpful.
Best wishes and prayers for your fur baby. 🙂

  2. I have read over the bible passages that you included in your Sunday blog several times. And as the events in Las Vegas unfolded on Monday I wondered if you realized how poignant they were. So sad.
