There has been much going on behind the scenes here at 11 Magnolia Lane and our wheels have been turning!
One thing we’ve discussed is that we love interacting with our readers and we’ve been thinking about ways to do more of it. We also had such a blast at the Haven conference hanging out with other “like-minded” women that we have been kicking around ways to hang out with you all, too. We love the idea of gathering “like-minded” women who like shopping, antiquing, eating, drinking and socializing–you know, all those fun things! So we thought why not plan something–we’ll handle all the details– invite our readers, go somewhere fun, have them bring their friends and we’ll all make a “Girls’ Weekend” out of it?
So, we’d really like to hear your thoughts on this today. Would you mind taking a quick minute and filling out our very short survey? To say a big THANK YOU we are giving away a beautiful gold monogram so you can make a pillow just like the pretty pink one Christy made (in picture above and below).
All you have to do is take our survey at the end of this post and you will be entered to win a customized gold fabric monogram, and we’ve included some bonus entries as well.
We’re considering places like Savannah {Not sure? See Christy’s post on the Savannah Home & Garden Tour here, the Savannah Book Festival here, or you can read more about my visit to her house in the Savannah area here}. Since Christy is currently a local she knows all the great places to shop, eat, and drink, so it’s sure to be a great time!
We’re also considering planning a “Girls’ Weekend Getaway” on the outskirts of Washington DC. We’re hoping to tie it into a visit to the Luckett’s General Store {home of the famous Lucketts Antique Fair}, you can read all about that event here, and we have some other fun ideas about chalk painting workshops and some other “girls” events we’d tie in as well.
To share your much-valued feedback with us and be entered to win a gorgeous gold personalized monogram, you can enter our Rafflecopter giveaway below. And, please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section–we’d really like to hear them!
Thanks for stopping by–
