Hello, friends! It’s time for Part 2 of my holiday home tour (Part 1 is here if you missed it). All of our participating bloggers have wowed us with their beautiful holiday homes, and we also want to give a special thanks to Lynch Creek Farms for providing each of us with a garland, wreath, or centerpiece to show off in our Christmas decor.
I’m thrilled to be sharing this day on the tour with our friend, Tam, who blogs over at Citrine Living. She also loves blue and white as much as I do, so be sure to stop over to see her {here}.
Meanwhile, back at the MCC House, our halls are decked from top to bottom.
It’s been cold, gray, and rainy here the last few days, so I didn’t spend too much time freezing outside to snap photos, but I do want to show off the Douglas Fir Garland that Lynch Creek Farms provided for me. It smells heavenly!
We’re fortunate enough to have holly, boxwood, magnolias, and several kinds of evergreens in our yard (it is Southern Pines after all; pine trees are kind of a thing around here!), so I just go outside with my shears and cut what I need. I tucked a few bunches of magnolia leaves into the garland and it was good to go.
When you step inside, you’re in the living room. You can see more {here}.
The living room opens to the dining room {see it in Part 1}…
…and then into the kitchen.
The house is a hundred years old, but the kitchens and bathrooms are updated. Since the cabinet space is limited, my kitchen cart is essential for extra storage.
I’m considering painting the walls in here after the holidays to continue the same color that’s in the living room and dining room; this room tends to be a bit dark and we all know that we need all the light we can get in January!

My daughter’s room is in Part 1 of the tour:
She and my son are both downstairs. His space is dark and cozy, just the way he likes it. Since we don’t have a designated guest room, the twin beds in his room and the queen bed in hers gives us flexibility when they’re hosting friends.
Have you noticed that HomeGoods has had the BEST pillows this year? I snagged these two plaid ones there and am going to head back for coordinating throws today to change out the gray chevron ones at the foot of the beds.
Like my daughter’s bookshelves, his are stuffed full of books and I stopped trying to style them years ago! We love to read in this family!

Brontë likes to nap beneath every Christmas tree in the house.
The kids share a bathroom downstairs, and it’s also the powder room for guests, so it gets into the Christmas spirit, too. For more photos, you can visit {this} post.
While the upstairs (my bedroom, bathroom, and office area) have gotten a touch of holiday cheer, too, it’s also super messy right now, because we have to have a workspace for gift wrapping, laundry folding, and all of the other holiday chores, right?
A special thank you to Lynch Creek Farms for sponsoring our tour and providing all the beautiful greenery showcased throughout the homes. Here is the entire tour schedule if you missed any homes:
