Today we are joining with a wonderful group of bloggers to all show you all our Easter and spring tablescapes, if you are coming from Sarah Sofia Productions, welcome! There is tons of inspiration so be sure to visit each one of the tour participants, they are all linked at the end of the post. Here is my dining room all decked out for Easter…
My table has been set for Easter for weeks, as you can probably tell I am excited for spring, warm weather and the holiday! I keep adding to it when I find more cute things, just last week I picked up a few more accents like these sweet nests from the craft store. Last year I went with colorful table–navy blue and bright pink— but this year as soon as I saw these bunny accents plates at HomeGoods I knew I be decorating with pink and gold.
The gold and pink combination is perfect for a spring table and these pieces mixed perfectly with our more formal china for a fresh look. I added a pink and white striped runner and mixed in other gold decorations along with some traditional Easter decor.
One of benefits of using neutral colors in your decorating is that it is easy to change up your color scheme as you feel inspired. Our dining room walls are pale gray (BM Moonshine}, I love that it coordinates perfectly with just about any color I mix in. I also recently moved some gold-framed floral prints into this room, they just happened to be pink so perfect for spring!
I mixed in neutral mats and white vintage monogrammed napkins. My mom found these beautiful linen napkins at an antique store and no, they aren’t my monogram which doesn’t bother me in the least. I think that the first owner would be happy to know that I am using them. I also set the table with my traditional china and crystal, I think of Easter is the most important holiday of the year, so using my nice things is part of our family tradition.
I added the little nests throughout the table and at the end places, they are a super sweet touch and perfect for Easter dinner. The small pink basket-style dishes hold some sweet treats which keep disappearing? I’ll have to restock them before Easter, jelly beans are a big hit around here 🙂
I added a few more decorations to the small console table under the chalkboard {these photos reminded me I need to decorate it with an Easter inspired message before the holiday}, along with a ruffled linen table runner. Each year I display this Easter printable reminding us of why we celebrate.
More than just decorations and eggs, we look forward to celebrating the hope of Easter morning around this table. Now ‘HOP’ on over to My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia next, and be sure to visit all the other blogs sharing their beautiful spring tables today too.
