Last week, I showed you my ten-year-old daughter’s bedroom for the first time (in this house), but writing that post got me thinking about how many times we’ve tweaked her room as her tastes have changed. I thought I’d show you all the many style stops she’s taken along the way to get to this point:

I love that the changes we made were all inexpensive ones (mostly with paint) yet they packed a big punch.
In our TN home, you can see that the iron bed was painted white, the breakfast-in-bed tray was pink, and we had shots of pink throughout the room.

A few months earlier, we had the iron headboard hot pink (that was fun!), and used an Amy Butler fabric to cover the door panels of the armoire. I still have the aqua and white duvet; we use it during sleepovers, but usually I sell my old decor pieces on Craigslist to pay for new ones. That saves on storage space, too! 🙂

And last but not least, her bedroom was pink and green for years, until she decided it was time for something bolder and cheerier. I had tons of pink and green items from my own bedroom growing up, so that was an easy room to decorate, but her room is her space, and I wanted her to be able to choose her colors.

Here they all are:
So, which room is your favorite? She votes for the current one, of course, but I’m still undecided. Let me know what you think, and thanks for stopping by!
